Product Overview

Haojing Electromechanical Co., Ltd. specializes in the production of medium-frequency spot welders. Its dual-head, dual-power spot welder for kitchen appliances utilizes a medium-frequency inverter power source. This machine delivers excellent results for sheet metal welding, particularly for kitchen appliance exteriors and welds, including aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and high-strength steel. Furthermore, its weld quality for galvanized sheet metal and standard multi-layer panels far exceeds that of power-frequency welders.

It features a reinforced, specially designed steel frame with two fixed and movable frames. Two welding heads are designed to meet product requirements, with a maximum effective welding width of 1000mm. The optimally positioned center of gravity ensures the machine provides a support point and work platform for high-speed welding. Two welding power sources enable simultaneous welding at two points.

Product Description

Features:

1. The movable welding head is equipped with a slide rail that allows for left and right movement, allowing for easy adjustment of the distance between weld points. This allows for flexible adjustment and adaptability to a wide variety of workpieces. This ensures versatility and allows for multiple uses.

2. It uses a three-phase power supply, minimizing grid impact and requiring less grid capacity than a single-phase welding machine of the same capacity. The welding transformer utilizes a medium-frequency inverter power supply.

3. It utilizes a Siemens advanced microcomputer-based fast-response touchscreen controller, featuring fully digital control and a simple, clear, and convenient user interface. It features automatic detection, compensation, and rejection if the set current value is not reached, effectively preventing defects such as loose solder joints and cold joints.

Scope of Application

It is primarily used in sheet metal welding processes and is particularly effective for welding range hood housings and other applications.

Introduction to the Medium-Frequency Inverter

It utilizes a PLC-controlled program, and the human-machine interface displays operating parameters, set parameters, and manual and automatic selection. Multiple program sets can be stored, facilitating welding of products of varying specifications. Multiple sensor switches prevent the next program from operating if there is no workpiece, or if the workpiece or cylinder is not in place.

Introduction

The medium-frequency power supply system consists of an medium-frequency inverter controller, an medium-frequency inverter, and a medium-frequency transformer. The medium-frequency controller performs automatic detection, automatic welding, step-by-step reset, and safety protection functions through programming software instructions and various parameter settings. The HJ-MF controller utilizes microcomputer control and multiple program groups, offering advantages such as automatic power factor correction, transformer overheat protection, and voltage fluctuation compensation. It also includes common operating parameters for easy operator use. The medium-frequency inverter utilizes advanced German technology and years of welding experience. Its key inverter components, such as IGBTs, SCRs, and driver modules, are all imported from Germany, ensuring reliable and stable quality. The medium-frequency controller utilizes microcomputer control for precise control. It features automatic power factor correction, transformer overheat protection, and voltage fluctuation compensation. It also features a full Chinese display and common operating parameter settings for easy operator use.

Advantages of Medium-Frequency Inverter Welding Machines

a. The welding current of medium-frequency welding machines is nearly pure DC. Due to the lack of significant peak current, the weld nugget size steadily expands, spatter is virtually nonexistent, and welding quality and thermal efficiency are stable. Compared to mains frequency welders, medium frequency welders can reduce welding current by 40%, significantly extending electrode life.

b. Interference can be reduced in large secondary circuits. The welding current is DC, so even if there are magnetic materials in the secondary winding, welding will not be affected.

c. The response speed of a medium frequency welder is only 1/20 that of a mains frequency welder. The current reaches the set value more quickly, allowing for more accurate parameter analysis and precise welding quality control.

d. Medium frequency welders balance the three-phase load, have a high power factor (around 0.9), and are energy-efficient. They are more adaptable to grid fluctuations and voltage drops. Some energy is stored in the inverter and then supplied to the load, replacing direct power supply from the grid. Two-phase mains frequency welders, on the other hand, struggle to maintain phase voltage balance during operation, resulting in a low power factor (around 0.6). Three-phase mains frequency welders struggle to achieve constant current output.

e. Medium frequency welders are suitable for welding a wide range of materials and dissimilar metals, such as aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and high-strength steel plates. In addition, for the welding of galvanized sheets and ordinary multi-layer sheets, the welding quality is much higher than that of industrial frequency welding machines.
