Working Introduction
The mainframe of the rib gantry welder is designed as a gantry structure. For example, it utilizes two SMD-40 medium-frequency inverter DC welding power supplies, four pressure mechanisms, and a forward-and-backward automatic stepper conveyor system. For single-sided, dual-spot welding, the two welding power supplies are connected to four electrodes. When welding two ribs, all four welding heads simultaneously apply pressure, enabling simultaneous or sequential discharge welding (depending on the site power grid). When welding a single rib, only a single power supply and two welding heads are in operation. A robot grasps the door panel and places it on the conveyor's positioning station. The stepper system's positioning mechanism positions it. The robot grasps the rib, places it on the base plate, and positions it. The mobile carriage on the gantry welder's conveyor clamps the positioned base plate and rib into the welding area for stepper welding. After welding is complete, the mobile carriage releases the welded workpiece and returns to pick up another workpiece. The welded workpiece then moves on rollers on the conveyor line to the next process step. The pressurizing mechanism is mounted on the dovetail slot of the gantry frame and can be adjusted horizontally. The positioning mechanism is manually adjustable, facilitating positioning of products of varying specifications. The stepper system is driven by a servo motor and synchronous belt.
The ribbed gantry welder is equipped with a gas tank to stabilize the air supply pressure. A pressure switch is installed at the air inlet, providing an alarm for low air pressure and a shutoff signal. Low water pressure and low water flow alarms are also provided, providing shutoff signals. The water system is the cooling system for the equipment during welding and operation. It cools the inverter, medium-frequency transformer, and welding head. The water system primarily consists of a water flow tube, piping, a water filter, and a manifold. The operation program is controlled by a PLC, and the human-machine interface displays operating parameters, set parameters, and manual and automatic selection. Multiple program sets can be stored to facilitate welding of products of varying specifications. Multiple sensor switches prevent the next program from operating if there is no workpiece, or if the workpiece or cylinder is not in position. The medium-frequency power supply system consists of a medium-frequency inverter controller, a medium-frequency inverter, and a medium-frequency transformer. The medium-frequency controller uses programming software and various parameter settings to perform automatic detection, automatic welding, step-by-step reset, and safety protection. The HJ-MF controller utilizes microcomputer control and multiple program groups, offering advantages such as automatic correction of power factor, transformer overheating protection, and voltage fluctuation compensation. It also includes common operating parameters for operator convenience. The medium-frequency inverter is developed using advanced German technology and years of welding experience. Its key inverter components, such as the IGBT, SCR, and driver module, are all imported from Germany, ensuring reliable and stable quality. The medium-frequency controller utilizes microcomputer control, enabling precise control. It features automatic power factor correction, transformer overheating protection, and voltage fluctuation compensation. It also features a full Chinese display and common operating parameter settings for operator convenience.
